New This Week

Families First Sundays is this Sunday, February 5! Don’t forget to bring in your items to donate to the Marysville Food Pantry. They are always in need of tomato juice, fruit juice and cereal, so bring them in and leave them in the collection tub in the lobby.

Senior Women’s Fellowship is a new ministry of Marysville Grace for women 50+.  If you are looking to surround yourself with other fabulous Christian women for friendship and spiritual growth, please join us for our first luncheon this Wednesday, February 8, 11:30am, at the Rupert’s home.

Would you like to host a Supper Six in your home? All that is needed is a willingness to open your home for a time of fellowship. Three couples will be assigned to your home for the night you host, and we’ll provide you with all the info you need. This is only a one night commitment to host sometime between now and Easter. Please sign up today and let us know what date would work for you to host!

If you want to know more about being baptized, then make sure to join us for a Baptism Class on Sunday, February 19, 6-8pm, at the Ministry Center. You’ll learn what the significance of baptism is for a believer and why it’s an important step to take in your faith. Childcare will be provided. Sign up today!

Financial Peace University Preview Night is Tuesday, February 21, 7-8:30pm, at the Ministry Center. This course from Dave Ramsey is designed to help you develop a written budget, pay off debt and save; it has been life changing for many. In our last class, we had 10 families pay off over $44,000 of debt during the class – it is worth your investment! Sign up to attend this one-time preview before committing to the 13-week course (starts Tuesday, March 6, 7-9pm) hosted by Dale & Claudia Bartow and Pastor Jeremy. Childcare will be provided for infants through 4th grade, but is limited to the first 15 children.

Soul Sisters: A Women’s Mentoring Ministry of Marysville Grace Join us for breakfast as we kick off the 2012 Soul Sisters season at The Water’s Edge Restaurant on February 25, 9-11am. We hope you will open your heart and your schedule to learn how you can participate in a mentoring relationship and explore what God has in store for you. Cost is $10 at the door. It is necessary to RSVP for this event on the response form or online. Water’s Edge is located at Willow Brook at Delaware Run (100 Delaware Crossing W., Delaware, off St. Rt. 36.).

Connection Class Our next class will be Sunday, February 12, 6-8:30pm, at the Ministry Center. This class will help you learn more about what it means to be a member of Marysville Grace. Next New Attender Dinner If you’re new to Marysville Grace, desire to meet our pastors and learn more about our vision and values, please plan to join us at Pastor Clancy & Sandy’s home on Sunday, March 4, at 5:30pm. Women of Worth:

• Moms Encouraging Moms’ next Group Meeting will be Thursday, February 9, 9:30am at the Watkins home. Tracy Sellars will be sharing with us. If you’re a mom with young children, come and get to know some other moms!
• Blessed Beginnings On Sunday, February 26, 2pm at the Ministry Center, we’ll be having a Baby Shower to celebrate some moms and their soon-to-arrive babies! We’ll also make some blankets to bless other moms and babies in Marysville. Beginning this morning, please visit the Info Table in the gym on Sunday morning to sign up to bring a gift for one of our expectant moms.

Fully Alive Men’s Ministry:

• Men’s Basketball meets each Sunday, 7-8:30pm, at the Union Co. YMCA for all men high school age and older (no children are permitted to attend due to YMCA rules). We’ll meet every Sunday through March 25 unless told otherwise. We will not be meeting this Sunday, February 5.
• Dads Encouraging Dads begins meeting Saturday, February 25, 8 a.m. at the Ministry Center. Join us for candid discussion on raising children in our society today – spiritual, practical, and biblical application as well as encouragement, accountability and prayer. We’ll keep meeting the last Saturday morning of each month through May.
• Men Aligning to Pray (MAP’s) groups begin in February! Without maps we would be lost. Whether it’s a GPS or an old paper one, we need maps to point us in the right direction. The same is true spiritually. We need to align ourselves with God, His Word, His church (Marysville Grace), and His sons (our brothers in Christ) in prayer, so He can provide direction for the journey of life. These groups will consist of 3-6 men who will get together weekly to pray for the ministry of Marysville Grace, the community, missions, unsaved friends, family, each other, etc. They will also meet to encourage and hold each other accountable. Sign up online today or on Sunday’s response form (write a day and time that works best for you) and we’ll contact you as groups are arranged.

Imagine Together Prayer Time meets at 8:45 and 10:30am each Sunday in the Art Room (unless otherwise noted). Join members of our church family to lift up our church and building project to the Lord in prayer.

Youth

Middle School Youth Group (7th & 8th Grades)
Sundays BreakOut sessions will start meeting September 4 on the first and second Sundays of each month in the Library after the Fellowship Time in 2nd Service.
Wednesdays  Meeting each week at the Ministry Center, 7-8:30pm
Middle School Youth will be going to the Dublin Chiller for ice skating and dinner at Cici’s Pizza on Saturday, February 25. More details coming soon!

Relentless (High School)
Wednesday Night Youth Group meets each week at A+ Child Care (398 Damascus Rd.), 7-8:30pm.
Sunday Night Study On February 12, we will be starting a 5-week study of the book of James. Guys meet at Pastor Jason’s house, and girls meet at the Davis’ house. More details to follow.
Youth Mission Trip March 31-April 4, a team will be going to inner city Philadelphia, PA, to work with Urban Hope (www.urbanhope.net). cost per person is $250, and the team is limited to 15 teens. See Pastor Jason to sign up now.
Local Ministry Opportunity We have the opportunity to lead a “youth program” at the local Central Ohio Youth Center (formerly known as the Juvenile Detention Center) on the 2nd Sunday of each month. If you are interested in serving and reaching out with your faith, please talk to Pastor Jason.
