Coming This Weekend

Imagine Together Prayer Time Join us each Sunday at 8am in the Navin Library for an opportunity to lift the building project to the Lord in prayer.

Babies First Sundays Marysville Food Pantry collection this Sunday morning! Please bring in your donations of Stage 3 Baby Food in jars, Toddler “Graduate” meals, snack-sized packs of Cheerios, snack puffs, cereal bars and juices and leave them in the collection tub in the lobby.

Sunday School classroom change This is the last week for all Sunday school classes to meet in the green hallway on the opposite side of the building. If you need help finding your child’s classroom, stop by the Children’s Info table on Sunday morning.

Middle School Youth are going to Zoombezi Bay this Sunday after 2nd Service until 7pm. Cost is $35 for admission and a meal.

High School Youth are going to lunch at BD’s Mongolian BBQ after 2^nd service on Sunday.

Sunday, August 22 A brief Congregational Meeting immediately after 2nd       service in the gym to vote on hiring the Youth Pastor candidate.

Mandatory Children’s Ministry Training is Sunday, August 29, 6:30pm, at Navin for all volunteers. We want to equip everyone who will be serving in September through team building, covering policies and procedures and role playing. Please let your coordinator know if you will be unable to attend!

Our online directory is missing some smiles! If you and your family have not had a photo taken for our online directory or if it has been a long time since you’ve had one taken (i.e. children are missing!), then mark your calendar for Sunday, September 19, and sign up on the response form today. You will be contacted to arrange a 5 minute appointment to get your free photo taken in the art room. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

Connection Class Our next class is Sunday, September 19, 5:30-8pm at the Ministry Center. This class will help you learn more about what it means to be a member of Marysville Grace. Blessed Beginnings On Sunday, August 15, at 2pm at the Ministry Center, we’ll be having a Baby Shower to celebrate some moms and their soon-to-arrive babies! We’ll also make some blankets to bless other moms and babies in Marysville. Please visit the Info Table in the gym on Sunday morning to sign up to bring a gift for one of our expectant moms.

Annual Men’s Golf Scramble This outing is quickly approaching, on Saturday, August 28. So get it on your calendar and start thinking about your team. Where? Oakhaven Golf Course (North of Delaware). Cost? $55 a person. Lunch? Provided after golf (speaker yet to be determined). As in the past, it will be a scramble format with a shotgun start. If you’re unable to get a full team of four, or even if you’re solo, you’ll be paired with others from our church or others (several Grace Brethren congregations will be participating). Registration and other info will be available starting this Sunday at the Info Table.

Relevant is meeting every Wednesday at 8pm throughout the summer at Pastor Jeremy’s home. If you’re a college student or young single, come hang out and deepen your walk with God.  Contact Pastor Jeremy with questions.

Middle School Youth Group (7th & 8th Grades)
Sundays: We will not be meeting in August.
Wednesdays: Meeting on August 4, 6:45-8:15pm, at Mill Valley Park South.

Middle School Upcoming Events
Local Outreach: Saturday, August 14, 8am. Meet at A+ Child Care to help with work around the building.
Kick-Off Party: Sunday, August 15, 6-9pm. Say hello to incoming 7th graders and goodbye to last year’s 8th graders.

High School Youth Group meets each Wednesday at A+ Child Care (398 Damascus Rd.), 7-8:30pm. See the Upcoming Events below for info on some special activities we’ll be doing on Wednesday nights this summer.
