New This Week

ROOFERS AND SIDERS NEEDED!

Our Missions Team is moving forward with more outreach to our community through the Pregnancy Care Center. We need men and women to put on new roofing and siding for their large storage garage and to be ground support for those on the roof. The date isn't until Saturday, August 1, but we need committed volunteers to move forward with this project. Please sign up at the Missions table if you are interested or contact the church office.

CHURCH OFFICE HOURS

For 4th of July week: The office will be open Tuesday and Wednesday, 9am-5pm; Thursday, 9am-4pm; and closed on Friday. If you have any quesitons please call the church office.

OPERATION BARNABAS COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENT

Mark you calendars for Saturday, June 27 at 6pm! This summer's OB team will be coming to Marysville and doing a community outreach event at the park in Mill Valley South. There will be a puppet show, popcorn, cotton candy and games for all kids who come. Come as a church family to support this outreach and invite your friends and neighbors!

"SON ROCK KIDS CAMP" NEIGHBORHOOD BIBLE CLUB

NBC is coming near you - so invite your friends and neighbors to come one day or every day! Pre-registration preferred, but not required. Call the host home or stop by the NBC table on Sunday mornings. Clubs will be held in Mill Valley, Ostrander, Scott Farms, East Liberty, Quail Hollow, Plain City, Green Pastures, Bear Swamp, Eastside Marysville and Milford Center - June - August).

You and your family are encouraged to have your free photo taken as a way to connect names and faces in the online church directory. So, gather the troops and head over to the 1st room on your right past the library, between services only.

ALL CHURCH PICNIC AND BAPTISM

On Sunday, July 19, 4pm, we'll have a special outdoor baptism and all church picnic at 22259 Bearswamp Rd, Marysville. We'll begin with a meal: please bring a meat to grill or a main dish, a salad or dessert to share, and your own seating. Lemonade, water and table setting will be provided. After the meal, we will have the Baptism. Sign up on the response form Sunday moring to contact the church office to attend. If you are interested in being baptized, please sign up on the response form Sunday morning or contact the church office.

EQUIP 09

Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches National Conference will be held July 26-31 in Columbus, OH. Cost is $15 per person; which includes all open seminars or speaker sessions. Our worship team will be leading worship Monday, July 27. For more information and to register online: www.equip09.com.

PRAYER FOR JOBS

You are invited to stop by the first room on the left past the Library for a brief time of prayer at 10:30am and 12:10pm each Sunday morning. If you would like to make your need known for prayer, please do so on the program response form Sunday morning or contact the church office.

Missions

PREGANCY CARE CENTER

Volunteers needed for organizing , sorting clothes, bundling diapers, etc. We will meet monthly, starting in May on the first Tuesday, 5:30-7:30pm and the 3rd Wednesday, 7-8:30pm. Questions? Contact the church office.

Children

UPWARD BASKETBALL CAMP COMING IN JULY!

Girls (July 13-17) and boys (July 20-24), 6-8pm who will have completed 3rd through 6th grades at Navin. Every participant will receive a t-shirt, water bottle, poster and a basketball. Interested? Pick up a registration form at the Children's Ministry info table Sunday morning or at the church office. Cost is $35 per child; registration deadline is July 1 for girls and July 7 for boys. JR HIGH YOUTH GROUP SUMMER ACTIVITIES

All 7th and 8th graders Welcome! Sundays: Meeting the 2nd and 3rd Sundays in June and August for Sunday school in the library during 2nd service ( but not meeting in July) Mondays: "Hang Time" Join the summer fun with friends from Marysville Grace at Eljer Park or the Marysville Pool! Mark your calendars and invite a friend! Noon to 3pm on : June 29; July 6, 13, 20, 27. Various activities will include: short devotion, sports, card/board games, water balloons, snacks, etc. Should it rain, "Hang Time" will be cancelled or possibly a movie day at a parents' home. Wednesdays: Meeting every other Wednesday at the Pretzlaf's home, 6:45-8:15pm. (June 3, 10 and 24; July 8 and 28; August 5 and 19).

SR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP

Meets each Wednesday at A+ Child Care (398 Damascus Rd.) 7-8:30pm. For more info about Sr. High Youth Group or events, contact the church office for more info.

NEW WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

Beth Moore "Jesus the One and Only" Thursday nights at 7pm beginning June 11th, (location- 501 Quail Hollow Dr.) Priscilla Shirer "Discerning the Voice of God" Tuesday nights, 7pm beginning June 23rd. Workbooks for each study must be ordered in advance. For general information contact the church office.

Men

NEW MEN'S BIBLE STUDY

will begin Saturday, June 6, 7-8:30am, at Navin, commons. How should a follower of Christ respond to unfair circumstances, injustice, or even personal attacks? Should we turn the other cheek and say nothing or should we defend our rights? The apostle Peter wrote two short letters to people living in those difficulties. Come and discover his advice from the Lord in a 7-week study of 1 and 2 Peter, titled "The Art of Aggressive Submission." Interested?
