Women need a place to connect the dots between life and faith, a time to learn and laugh among friends, an opportunity to be drawn into God’s presence. At Marysville Grace, the Women of Worth ministry provides venues to talk, learn, grow, and experience with other women in discovering and exploring the richness of a deep relationship with Jesus.

BIBLE STUDIES: A setting to encourage you through the study of God’s word to become the woman God made you to be. If you are looking for an atmosphere to make lasting friendships, study God’s word, and learn from compelling teaching, join one of the studies offered in winter, summer, and fall each year.
Winter 2012 Bible Study
Mark your calendar for Living Your Life as a Beautiful Offering by Angela Thomas. This study will be offered on Monday Nights, Tuesday mornings and Thursday Nights beginning the week of January 23 at the Ministry Center. Workbooks can be purchased on the first night of the study at a cost of $11 (checks payable to Marysville Grace with memo line: WOW Bible Study.) Childcare will be available only for the Monday night and Tuesday morning studies on a first come basis – space may be limited, so sign up today!

MOMS ENCOURAGING MOMS: Moms with young kids meet to form friendships, share ideas, and encourage each other to live each day for Jesus. Meeting once a month with a relevant topic, discussion, and time for fellowship (childcare is provided).

SPRING RETREAT: A Friday and Saturday away each Spring at Deer Creek State Park in Mt. Sterling, OH provides the perfect place to get away, to grow friendships and faith through encouraging workshops and an inspiring keynote speaker. Our 2012 Retreat will be Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21.

BABY SHOWERS: Twice a year expectant moms are honored with gifts and a message designed for them. Each mom is paired with another woman to be a prayer partner during her pregnancy. Time is set aside to make fleece blankets for the new babies and for the local pregnancy center.

SPECIAL EVENTS: Opportunities for growth and service are offered throughout the year, including a Spring Perennial Exchange, a Paint Your Pottery Night, a Christmas Luncheon, Scrapbooking Gatherings, and relevant seminars.
Upcoming Special Event
Girls’ Night Out: Game Night will be Friday, January 20 , 7pm, at Gwen Murray’s home. We’ll take a few minutes to learn about the upcoming Women’s Bible Study before spending the evening playing games and hanging out. Bring a snack or beverage to share and your favorite game. Sign up today! Note: Please follow Gwen’s driveway all the way to her house – extra parking is available on the side of her home.
